I recently stayed at the Cohasset Harbor Inn for a family gathering, and overall, it was a warm experience with many highlights. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, and the views of the harbor were simply beautiful. However, the room did have some maintenance issues that need addressing, which overshadowed some of the positives. While the location and dining options were strong points, the state of the facilities could certainly be improved to enhance the overall stay.

My room had a lovely view of the harbor, and it was clean and comfortable enough, although it felt a bit dated. The heater was quite noisy but did warm up the room nicely. Unfortunately, there were some wear and tear like peeling paint and unreliable plug outlets.

Breakfast was a highlight of my stay, offering a nice variety of options and delicious coffee. I also enjoyed dinner at The Cove, where the food was excellent. However, there could be more options for late-night dining.
Facilities

While the dining areas and outdoor spaces around the hotel were well-maintained and inviting, the guest rooms and general condition of some facilities seemed like they needed updates and repairs. The lack of certain amenities like USB ports and a coffee pot in the room was also disappointing.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. The views of the harbor were stunning, and the staff were incredibly nice, which made for some enjoyable moments. However, the room itself felt quite outdated, and there were several maintenance issues that really detracted from the experience. I think the hotel needs some serious updates to justify the price.
